Blissful Interactions
 Focusing on being in the moment, the time you have with the people around you is a precious gift that should be savoured and enjoyed to the utmost. One might want to use one’s breath to keep one in the present and help one truly take pleasure in the interactions engaged in.
Remembering to take deep abdominal breaths throughout the conversations, and briefly looking upon the people as blessings that enrich our lives, we may notice that time slows down. When this happens, it could seem that each moment experienced vibrates with healthy, positive, and happy energy.
So often in our interactions it can be easy for us to become preoccupied by our own thoughts and opinions; so much so that we don’t truly listen to or engage completely in what is going on around us. Being completely there, however, brings a different kind of energy to our interactions, something that is filled with joy and laughter; something that is special, loving and effervescent. As you become more in the moment you will find that your conversations will come alive, ignited by the joy that comes from being completely conscious.

Enlivening Inspiration
Inspiration is a force that enlivens and activates us to do something: dance, sing, paint or even visualise a new career. We might call a friend and plan a trip abroad. Inspiration lifts you into a higher level of seeing. There are many ways to cultivate its presence, from journalling to scrap booking. Finding what inspires you and consciously cultivating it will give you access to new ways of thinking and energy you didn't know you had.

Some people find that frequent trips into nature inspire them. Others have a box full of objects - a seashell, an old photograph, a collection of rocks, etc. If you already know what inspires you, find a way to incorporate it into your life on a regular basis. When was the last time you felt the spark of your imagination, or acted on an impulse that felt totally right? When we are in the presence of what inspires us, we hear our inner guidance more clearly and we have the energy to follow its cues.

If it has been a while since you have been touched by inspiration, you may feel listless and dissatisfied. Know that you can turn things around by remembering what lights you up and bringing it into your life.

Creating a life that is full of meaning involves so much more than simply wishing it to be so. It also takes a concerted effort to connect with the innermost part of our higher selves be it through meditation, prayer, reflection, or study. These things allow us to tap into the unlimited knowledge of the universe and find our direction for further growth. By awakening your divine connection to the universe, your life will have more meaning and you will move even closer to self-realization.

Nightly Ritual
At the end of the day, as the dark stillness of night beckons us to lay down and rest, we find ourselves at a clear transition point: behind us lies the previous day and all that has passed; ahead of us, dawn heralds the unfolding of all that is yet to come. While many of us have morning rituals that connect us with our centre and help us to set intentions, we may want to explore the magic and power of night time ritual as well. It holds for us a chance for self-appreciation and blessing. Before you go to bed each night, you can send gratitude, compassion and healing to the being you have been up until that moment. You can also send lightness and love into the future for the one you are in the process of becoming.


Although simple, this ritual honours the journey you have taken thus far. When you consciously engage with your own evolution this way, you may find that you sleep better, filling your night with a deeper sense of trust and relaxation. As you rest, you can surrender to this peaceful time, knowing that the road behind you has been acknowledged with respect and compassion, while the path ahead now holds your own benevolence and well wishes.


This bedtime ritual empowers you as the only one who can determine the meaning of your own past and the hopefulness of your future. By setting this special time aside each  night, you allow yourself to let the past have its place, to trust that the future is taken care of, and to simply rest yourself in the graceful arms of the present moment.
